Marina and Sports Complex

For this marina and recreation center; residential neighbors were invited to take part in the approval of designs in order to protect their views of the river and create a character consistent with the surrounding community. The complex includes a rowing-fitness center, marine retail, management offices, maintenance shop, and a clubhouse/ restaurant. All construction is supported on piles and grade beams, and designed in accordance with Coastal A-Zone flood regulations.

Luncheonette to Restaurant

A new arcade and marquee completely changed the exterior of this renovation without major changes to the concrete block walls.

Alterations to an Historic Church

The task of adding to the dramatically beautiful organic forms of the existing award winning Chapel required great sensitivity to scale and an understanding that the Meeting House and it’s additions should complement the soaring spire without distracting from it.

VICTORIAN MANSION TO SQUASH CLUB

This historic Victorian structure was restored and re-conceived as a recreation center with squash courts, locker facilities, and meeting rooms. Several apartments for staff are located on the top floor.
